Breanna Weseen has been a student volunteer with Converse and Cook since the very beginning and has helped us grow to the program we are today. In Fall 2018 she did her Community Service hours with us helping us develop a guidebook that supports others in running their own cooking class education programming. If you’re interested in getting a copy of this guidebook to run programming in your community email us at converseandcook@gmail.com.  Breanna is now volunteering to with Programming done at the University of Alberta through the Campus Food Bank 🙂 We wish her all the best as she completes her degree.

If you’re a student at the University of Alberta currently completing a certificate in Community Service Learning you are more than welcome to connect with us about doing a non-credit opportunity with us. We’re pretty flexible and so we will work with you to find an opportunity that suits your interests. Just contact us at least 2 months before the semester in which you plan to start your non-credit opportunity so we can get the paperwork rolling 🙂
