Our programming at the University of Alberta is officially handed off the Campus Food Bank

We got our start at the University of Alberta but now it’s time to hand things off so that we can move on to supporting programming in the City of Edmonton and beyond.

If you’re a student at the UofA you can visit https://campusfoodbank.com/ to figure out how to volunteer with this programming or sign up for grocery buses and cooking classes.

In the meantime we’re working on compiling a cookbook, creating programming in high schools/ junior highs, developing a cooking class program with facilitated conversations, and hosting safari/progressive dinners. You’ll hear more about these opportunities in the coming year. Also with the new Canada Food Guide in the works hopefully we’ll be able to do some programming that aligns with this 🙂
