The stories and recipes captured in our programming are of people who reside(d) in ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Amiskwacîwâskahikan), also known as Edmonton, on Treaty 6 territory; the territory of the Papaschase and the homeland of the Métis Nation. We acknowledge that our ability to share our connection to food today is because of the vibrant Indigenous cultures that have cared for the land before us and continue to do so today.
